Microbial Degradation of Several Acetamide, Acylanilide, Carbamate, Toluidine and Urea Pesticides

چکیده
Soil enrichment was used to isolate soil microorganisms capable of degrading isopropyl carbanilate (propham), 3’,4’-dichloropropionanilide (propanil), 3’-chloro-2-methylp-valerotoluidide (solan), and methyl 3,4-dichlorocarbanilate (swep) in a muck and a silty clay loam. Degradation of the pesticides in enrichment solutions, and by pure cultures of effective microbial isolates was demonstrated by the production of the corresponding aniline, chloride ion liberation and disappearance of the parent compound. Degradation products were identified by gas-liquid and thin-layer chromatography. Organisms isolated include Pseudomonas striata Chester, Achromobacter sp., Aspergillus ustus (Bain) Thorn and Church, A. versicolor (Quill. Tirabaschi), Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht, F. solani (Martius) Appel and Wollenweber, Penicillium chrysogenum Thorn, P. janthinellum Biourge, P. rugulosum Thorn and Trichoderma viride Pers. Bach organism demonstrated a unique substrate specificity and was capable of degrading other aniline-based pesticides of the acetamide, acylanilide, carbamate, toluidine and urea classes.

Equilibrium vs ground-state planarity of the CONH linkage.
Planarity of the XC(=)NHY linkage has been investigated in unprecedented detail in a number of relatively simple compounds, including formamide (X = Y = H), acetamide (X = CH3, Y = H), urea (X = NH2, Y = H), carbamic acid (X = OH, Y = H), and methyl carbamate (X = OCH3, Y = H). Reliable estimates of the equilibrium structures of formamide, cyanamide, acetamide, urea, carbamic acid, methylamine,...

UT-B represents the major urea transporter in erythrocytes, in addition to being expressed in kidney descending vasa recta, brain, spleen, ureter, bladder, and testis. Expression of urea transporter UT-B confers high urea permeability to mammalian erythrocytes. Erythrocyte membranes are also permeable to various urea analogues, suggesting common transport pathways for urea and structurally simi...
متن کاملSorption, degradation and leaching of pesticides in soils amended with organic matter: A review
The use of pesticides in modern agriculture is unavoidable because they are required to control weeds. Pesticides are poisonous; hence, they are dangerous if misused. Understanding the fate of pesticides will be useful to use them safely. Therefore, contaminations of water and soil resources could be avoided. The fates of pesticides in soils are influenced by their sorption, decomposition and m...
